Diversified Energy (DEC), FuelCell Energy (FCEL), and TESIAC said Monday that they teamed up to provide up to 360 megawatts of electricity in Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky to meet the growing energy needs of data centers.
Under the partnership, the companies said they would create an acquisition and development company focused on delivering natural gas and captured coal mine methane to meet the demand.
The companies said the partnership will combine natural gas produced by Diversified Energy from the Appalachian Basin as the base fuel, advanced fuel cell technology from FuelCell Energy for power generation, and TESIAC's financing expertise to provide efficient, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions for data centers.
