Oracle Raises Quarterly Dividend by 25%

Oracle is increasing its quarterly dividend to 50 cents a share from 40 cents a share previously.

The Austin, Texas, cloud-software provider on Monday said that its board of directors declared the boost of its quarterly cash payout to shareholders.

The new dividend, equal to $2 annually, represents a yield of 1.34%, based on the company's latest closing price of $148.79.

The dividend will be paid on April 10.
