1011 ET - Ulta Beauty dodged most of the bullets with its latest results but there are still some concerns, says D.A. Davidson's Michael Baker in a research note. The cosmetics retailer finished F4Q better than it had forecast and "first quarter commentary was also not as bad as expected despite vendor readthroughs," Baker says. But he also notes that just as the situation seems to be alleviating itself, there is still pressure from Amazon, TikTok and Walmart. "Fundamentals are mixed right now for Ulta," says Baker. Shares climb 7% in early trading. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
