--Budweiser Brewing Co. APAC is planning to cut more jobs this year, mostly in China, as it seeks to cut costs, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
--The job cuts are part of the company's plan to lower costs by 15% this year. The company had already cut 4,000 jobs, or 16% of its workforce, last year.
--"For over four decades, we have invested in China, we are confident in its growth potential and remain focused on our strategic priorities," a Budweiser APAC spokesperson told Bloomberg. China represents more than 80% of the company's workforce.
