Church & Dwight named Lee McChesney as its new chief financial officer.

McChesney is set to start on March 24, the owner of brands including Arm & Hammer and Trojan said Friday.

Former CFO Richard Dierker is set to become chief executive on April 2 following Matthew Farrell's retirement, Church & Dwight said earlier. Once McChesney starts as CFO, Dierker will continue as head of business operations until April 2.

McChesney, 53, previously worked for MSA Safety as Chief Financial Officer starting in 2022. Before that, he was at Stanley Black & Decker for more than a decade.

Church & Dwight plan to pay McChesney a base salary of $700,000, plus stock awards and bonuses. In 2023, Dierker made a base salary of $695,275 and a total compensation of $3.9 million as CFO.
