Stocks to Watch Friday: DocuSign, Ulta Beauty, Compass -- WSJ

Ulta Beauty $(ULTA)$: The cosmetics retailer posted better-than-expected quarterly earnings and revenue. Shares rallied in offhours trading.

DocuSign $(DOCU)$: The e-signature company logged higher-than-expected quarterly profit and revenue, boosted by its new AI-enabled products. Shares climbed more than 10% in premarket trading.

Commerzbank (XE:CBK): Italy's UniCredit (IT:UCG) said it received authorization to raise its stake in the German lender up to 29.9%, but would wait until next year before deciding whether to do so. Commerzbank shares rose over 1% in Germany.

Universal Music (NL:UMG): Hedge-fund manager Bill Ackman said his Pershing Square would reduce its stake in the world's largest music company. Shares fell 7% in Amsterdam.

CK Hutchison (HK:1): Beijing signaled displeasure over the Hong Kong company's decision to sell its majority controlling stake in Panama ports to a BlackRock $(BLK)$-led consortium. CK Hutchison shares fell more than 6%.

Compass $(COMP)$: The real-estate brokerage is in advanced talks to buy Berkshire Hathaway $(BRK.B)$'s HomeServices of America, The Wall Street Journal reported.
