Fortegra adds Ascot’s Totolos as alternative risk SVP

March 14 - (The Insurer) - Fortegra has appointed former Ascot Group executive Mark Totolos as senior vice president of alternative risk.

Totolos brings more than 18 years of experience in specialty and alternative risk underwriting, most recently serving as senior vice president and head of U.S. captive solutions at Ascot Group.

Prior to that, he was senior vice president and head of captives and programs at Skyward Specialty Insurance. His career also includes roles at Houston International Insurance Group, AIX Group and Harleysville Insurance.

In his new position, Totolos will lead the development of Fortegra’s alternative risk division, focusing on risk-sharing products to enhance the company’s offerings for its partners.
