Zumiez (ZUMZ) reported fiscal Q4 earnings late Thursday of $0.78 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $1.73 a year earlier.
One analyst polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.83.
Net sales in the three months ended Feb. 1 fell to $279.2 million from $281.8 million a year earlier.
Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $279.4 million.
For fiscal Q1, the company expects a loss of $0.72 to $0.82. Analysts' estimates weren't available. The company expects Q1 net sales of $179 million to $183 million. One analyst polled by FactSet expects $173.8 million.
Zumiez said it approved on Wednesday the buyback of up to $25 million common stock through March 31, 2026.
Shares of the company fell 6.1% in after-hours activity.
