MTM Critical Metals (ASX:MTM) signed a memorandum of understanding with Vedanta to apply its proprietary flash joule heating technology for Vedanta's Red Mud alumina waste recycling project, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company said Red Mud tailings have above-ground deposits of aluminum, titanium, gallium, scandium, and rare earth elements.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company's shares rose 10% in recent Thursday trade.
