智通财经APP获悉，知情人士透露，为了重新夺回中国市场份额，特斯拉(TSLA.US)正在上海开发其最畅销的 Model Y 的低成本版本。
知情人士称，新车型将比去年年底推出的改款 Model Y 更紧凑，制造成本至少降低 20%。Model Y 是一款中型 SUV 跨界车，起售价为 263,500 元人民币。
三位消息人士中的两位表示，这款低成本车型正在开发中，项目代号为“E41”，可能从 2026 年开始在上海工厂量产。其中一位消息人士表示，上海工厂生产的车型将主要在中国销售，以保住市场份额。这位消息人士补充说，这款车型还将在欧洲和北美生产，但没有具体说明生产时间。
今年 1 月，特斯拉CEO马斯克宣布，特斯拉计划在 2025 年上半年推出更多价格实惠的车型。不过，他并未提供有关成本降低幅度、定价、尺寸或规格的具体细节。
最近，这家美国电动汽车制造商尚未推出全新产品，除了计划于 2026 年推出的自动驾驶“Cybercab”机器人出租车。相反，该公司正寻求通过快速开发现有车型的不同版本来对抗竞争对手，尤其是在中国的竞争对手。
特斯拉在中国市场的销量和市场份额都在下降，其纯电动汽车市场的份额将从一年前的 11.7% 下降到 2024 年的 10.4%。
