New England Realty Associates depositary receipts climbed after the real-estate partnership declared a special distribution.
The depositary receipts were recently up 8.7%, to $80.25, Thursday. Volume was 5,074 units, compared with a 65-day average of 175.
New England Realty Associates said the special distribution would be $3.20 a depositary receipt, and also announced a quarterly 40 cent distribution. Each depositary receipt represents a beneficial ownership of one-thirtieth of a Class A Partnership Unit.
The payouts will take place March 31 to holders of record as of March 24.
The partnership owns and operates apartment buildings, condominium units and commercial properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
