Taylor Morrison Home (TMHC) said Friday that it has named Todd Merrill as chief legal officer and secretary, effective June 1.
He succeeds Darrell Sherman who will retire after 16 years, effective May 31, the homebuilding company said.
Merrill currently serves as general counsel of operations at Taylor Morrison and has been a member of the legal team since 2004, the company said.
Sherman is retiring to serve as a mission president for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints beginning in June.
