Ulta Beauty posted better-than-expected results in the fourth quarter. The cosmetics retailer said same-store sales rose 1.5% for its three months ended Feb. 1, after guiding in early January that the metric would increase modestly. Quarterly earnings of $8.46 a share on revenue of $3.49 billion came in ahead of analyst views. Shares rise 6.5%, to $335.03, in after-hours trading.
Semtech swung to a profit of $39.1 million for its three months ended Jan. 26. Revenue increased to $251 million, beating analyst views for $249.2 million. For its fiscal first quarter, the chipmaker guided for revenue of $245 million to $255 million, compared with the $250.9 million that analysts expect. Shares gain 12%, to $36.51, in post-market trading.
DocuSign's new artificial-intelligence-enabled offerings boosted its fiscal fourth-quarter results. The company's profit rose to $83.5 million, while revenue jumped to $776.3 million. For its fiscal 2026, the e-signature company expects sales of $3.13 billion to $3.14 billion, just shy of analyst views for $3.15 billion. Shares climb 10%, to $82.35, in after-hours trading.
Applied Optoelectronics inked a deal with Amazon.com, under which the retail giant can acquire up to 7.9 million shares of its common stock for $23.70 apiece. Applied provides fiber-optic access network products for the internet data-center, cable-broadband, telecom and fiber-to-the-home markets. Shares surge 52%, to $24.05, in post-market trading.
