Tencent Holdings' (HKG:0700) attributable profit surged 90% to 51.3 billion yuan in the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, from 27 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
Earnings per share stood at 5.485 yuan, up from 2.807 yuan in the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The tech giant's revenue climbed 11% to 172.4 billion yuan from 155.2 billion yuan a year earlier.
For the entire 2024, attributable profit increased 68% year over year to 194.1 billion yuan from 115.2 billion yuan, while revenue rose 8% to 660.3 billion yuan from 609 billion yuan.
The firm has recommended a final dividend of HK$4.50 per share for the year, payable on May 30 to shareholders of record as of May 21.
