Boeing (BA) will get an order from Japan Airlines for 17 additional Boeing 737-8 aircraft, the airline said Wednesday.
This adds to the airline's March 2023 order for 21 Boeing 737-8 planes to replace its Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which are primarily used on domestic routes, the carrier said.
Japan Airlines also said it plans to introduce 11 Airbus A321neo aircraft to replace its Boeing 767s, primarily for routes to and from Haneda Airport.
In the international market, the airline said it plans to introduce 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft and 20 Airbus A350-900 planes.
