March 20 - (The Insurer) - Aspen Insurance Holdings has appointed Christian Dunleavy and Michael Lagler to its board as a director and non-executive director, respectively.
Both appointments took effect on March 17.
Dunleavy, who joined Aspen in 2015 as global head of property cat reinsurance, currently serves as group president and CEO of Aspen Bermuda Limited. He is responsible for the group’s underwriting strategy, claims and business development.
Lagler is a private equity associate at Apollo Global Management, where he focuses on private equity investments in insurance and financial services.
Based in London, he previously worked on the investment banking team at Perella Weinberg Partners.
“Christian joining the board follows his appointment as group president last year, while Michael will bring highly relevant financial services, insurance and capital markets experience,” said Mark Cloutier, group CEO and chairman.
