智通财经APP讯，保诚(02378)发布截至2024年12月31日止年度业绩，新业务利润增加11%至30.78亿美元。经计及利率及其他经济变动的影响，新业务利润大致持平，传统内含价值新业务利润亦增加11%;经调整税前经营溢利增加10%至31.29亿美元，经调整税后经营溢利增加7%至25.82亿美元。第二次中期股息为每股16.29美分。
执行总裁Anil Wadhwani(华康尧)表示：“2024年，我们继续执行策略，致力提升营运能力并实现增长，取得良好进展。财务表现符合指引，新业务利润增长11%，所产生的经营自由盈余为26.42亿美元。我们将自2025年第一季度起转而采用传统内含价值基准，倘按该基准计算，则新业务利润亦于年内增长11%。亚洲及非洲市场再现明确的长期增长趋势，为我们创造重要机遇。亚洲的保险渗透率较低，而我们的多个市场对长期储蓄及保障产品的需求持续上升，同时在收入较高的亚洲市场，财富管理及退休规划的需求亦在增加。”
