Interra Resources (SGX:5GI) has sought an extension from the Singapore Exchange (SGX) to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) for 2024 by June 29, and issue its annual and sustainability reports by June 15, according to a Wednesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

The current deadlines are April 30 for the AGM and April 16 for the reports.

The company said it is awaiting legal advice from Herbert Smith Freehills Prolegis on potential sanctions risks related to its operations in Myanmar.

External auditors CLA Global TS and enterprise risk consultant Crowe Horwath First Trust Advisory will finalize their reports about three to four weeks after the legal opinion, expected by the end of March.

Interra said the extension would give shareholders more clarity on the sanctions-related issues before the AGM.
