据路透社报道，捷克央行（CNB）董事会成员 Jan Kubicek 对将比特币纳入该银行庞大的储备资产持 “怀疑态度”，主要担忧其法律不确定性以及数字货币的波动性。捷克央行副行长 Eva Zamrazilova 也表示，比特币不是适合的储备资产。今年早些时候，捷克央行行长 Aleš Michl 提议将其 1400 亿欧元储备中的 5% 投资于比特币，以实现资产多元化。
