智通财经APP获悉，据报道，亚马逊(AMZN.US)正致力于为消费者提供高端消费电子产品，以扩充现有的中低端产品线。在设备和服务高级副总裁Panos Panay的带领下，亚马逊的所有设备都将进行重新设计，包括处理器、设计、材料等。Panay于2023年9月从微软加盟亚马逊。
Panay表示：“我希望我们推出的每一款产品都堪称完美。不会有偷工减料。”
Panay补充说，亚马逊上个月在纽约的一场盛大活动中推出了新的Alexa+服务，该服务将成为新消费设备不可或缺的一部分。他解释道，“我们正在设想客户在人工智能设备方面的下一个产品，我们有一些令人难以置信的产品”正在筹备中。
亚马逊上一次发布新设备是在2024年11月，包括Echo Show 21智能家居显示器、Fire HD 8平板电脑和Fire TV Omni Mini-LED系列电视机。
