Odaily星球日报讯 据 Semafor 记者 Eleanor Mueller 报道，美国总统特朗普提名的 SEC 主席候选人保罗·阿特金斯（Paul Atkins）正在推进任命进程，参议院银行、住房和城市事务委员会主席 Tim Scott 计划于 3 月 27 日召开听证会审查其提名。此前，阿特金斯因财务披露问题导致确认流程推迟。 阿特金斯曾于 2002-2008 年担任 SEC 专员，并在加入 SEC 之前担任 Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP 的公司律师。外界预计，相较前 SEC 主席 Gary Gensler，阿特金斯可能采取更友好的加密货币监管态度。 自 Gary Gensler 于 1 月 20 日卸任以来，Mark Uyeda 一直担任 SEC 代理主席。在此期间，SEC 成立了由专员 Hester Peirce 领导的加密货币特别工作组，并取消了要求金融公司将加密资产记为负债的规定。此外，Uyeda 领导下的 SEC 近期撤销了对 Coinbase、Consensys、Robinhood、Gemini、Uniswap 和 OpenSea 等公司的多项调查和诉讼，并考虑放弃要求加密公司注册为交易所的规定。（Cointelegraph）
