Clean Energy Investor Group CEO Richie Merzian says Australia is still “heavily reliant” on coal and gas for energy.
Mr Merzian told Sky News Australia that the energy prices are set based on coal and gas supply.
“If gas prices go up globally, they feed into gas prices locally.”
