智通财经APP获悉，截至发稿，Venture Global(VG.US)周三盘前上涨6.7%。媒体报道称，知情人士透露，特朗普政府准备有条件地批准该公司在路易斯安那州的CP2设施出口液化天然气，该设施在前总统拜登时期陷入停滞。CP2的批准将是特朗普迄今为止在液化天然气项目上的最大举措。
Venture Global 尚未对该项目做出最终投资决定，该项目预计耗资280亿美元，将成为同类项目中最大的液化天然气工厂之一。一旦建成，该工厂将能够出口高达39.6亿立方英尺/天的液化天然气，每年可生产2000万吨液化天然气。
这一授权将标志着特朗普总统为加强美国天然气出口所做的最新努力，此前Commonwealth LNG获得了类似的许可证，允许延长另外两个项目，推动液化天然气更易作为船用燃料，但CP2的批准将是特朗普迄今为止在液化天然气项目上的最大举措。CP2项目的规模使其成为气候活动人士的目标，他们向拜登政府施压，要求阻止该项目。
Venture Global已经为CP2的未来液化天然气供应安排了几个客户，包括埃克森美孚(XOM.US)、雪佛龙(CVX.US)、日本的Inpex和SEFE欧洲安全能源有限公司(SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH)。
