PANews 3月18日消息，据Decrypt报道，美国加密货币交易公司Cumberland的亚洲子公司Cumberland SG周一表示，其已获得新加坡金融管理局颁发的主要支付机构牌照的原则上批准。MPI许可证一旦全面授予，将允许Cumberland在该地区供受监管的数字支付代币服务。Cumberland在声明中表示：“原则上批准是新加坡金融管理局发出的强烈信心信号，但现阶段还不构成许可。”
新加坡金融管理局的原则性批准表明，只要满足某些条件并且没有出现不利发展，就可以颁发许可证。 如果有必要，新加坡金融管理局保留撤销批准的权利。在MPI框架下运营的公司必须遵守严格的要求，包括资本充足率和反洗钱合规性。
