消息面上，西部水泥发布业绩预告，预计2024年度溢利将较上年度增长35%-45%。主要因2023年度确认一间附属亏损约2.56亿人民币，以及就行政罚款拨备约1.2亿人民币；按公平值计的权益工具公平值亏损减少。然而，由于水泥平均售价仍处低位，全年收益预计由上年度90.21亿元下降至83.3亿元。天风证券指出，预计国内贡献利润约2~3个亿，海外6~7亿（权益后约4个亿），综合归母净利润约6~7亿元。
3月15日，尧柏国际集团公众号发文称，莱米国家水泥厂自2024年9月28日埃塞总理阿比亲自按下投产按钮以来，不足半年便实现设计产能释放100%，日均出厂水泥突破1.2万吨。埃塞俄比亚作为非洲人口第二大国，当前城镇化率不足20%，年均水泥需求增长率达8%以上。市场分析师指出，随着埃塞政府“十年发展规划”的持续推进，基建投资年均增长率高达12％，而水泥供需缺口长期维持在40％左右，水泥市场产销两旺的态势将至少延续十年。
