Artemis Resources Completes First Drilling Phase at Western Australia Tenement; Shares Hit Eight-Year Low

Artemis Resources (ASX:ARV) completed the first phase of drilling on three gold targets on the Carlow tenement in Western Australia, with five diamond holes drilled totaling 1,790 meters, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling targets include the Titan gold prospect, Marillion electromagnetic target, and potential extensions down plunge from Carlow deposit, the filing said.

Samples of drill core from the drill holes have been sent for assay, with results expected in the coming weeks, per the filing.

Shares rose past 14% in midday trade Wednesday, and earlier hit their lowest since January 2017.
