MMG (HKG:1208) said Cao Liang would step down as chief executive officer, effective April 11, to take a senior executive role with China Minmetals Non-ferrous Metals.
Cao will remain on the company's board as he will be re-designated from an executive director to a non-executive director.
The company appointed Zhao Jing Ivo as the new CEO effective April 12, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Zhao has served as executive general manager of the company's Americas operations since September 2024.
