Czech National Bank Official Holds "Skeptical Stance" Towards Bitcoin as a Reserve Asset

BlockBeats News, March 20th, according to Reuters, Jan Kubicek, a board member of the Czech National Bank (CNB), is "skeptical" about incorporating Bitcoin into the bank's large reserve assets, citing concerns about its legal uncertainty and the volatility of digital currencies. The vice president of the Czech National Bank, Eva Zamrazilova, also stated that Bitcoin is not a suitable reserve asset.

Earlier this year, Aleš Michl, the Governor of the Czech National Bank, proposed allocating 5% of its €140 billion reserves to Bitcoin for asset diversification.
