Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says Australia’s average population growth of 2.1 per cent is “one of the highest levels” among all OECD nations.
Australia’s population growth for September is set to be released on Thursday.
“In Australia ... about 27.2 million was the last reading for our population, it grew half a million over the 12-month period; we are expecting that to continue,” Mr Boyd said.
