Diana Shipping (DSX) said Thursday that one of its subsidiaries signed a time charter contract with Cargill Ocean Transportation for an Ultramax dry bulk vessel Andromeda.
The gross charter rate is $14,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties, for a period until at least Nov. 15, and up to Jan. 15, 2026. The charter is expected to start on March 29.
The deal is anticipated to generate gross revenue of approximately $3.18 million for the minimum scheduled period, according to the company.
