路透北京3月17日 - 行业组织周一表示，北京方面已重新批准数百家美国猪肉和家禽加工厂的注册，允许它们向中国出口产品。此前，这些工厂的注册失效威胁到了美国对中国的出口。中国是全球最大的肉类进口国。
在特朗普总统的领导下，美国农民和肉类公司正在应对与中国和加拿大等主要农产品进口国的贸易争端，这些注册更新让他们松了一口气。
据美国肉类出口联合会和美国家禽蛋类出口委员会称，据悉中国已将 2 月和上周末到期的美国猪肉和家禽工厂的注册续期五年。这两个组织都表示，美国牛肉工厂尚未续期。
中国海关继续放行来自注册已过期工厂的货物，但美国出口商不确定这种情况会持续多久。
北京要求食品出口商必须向海关登记才能在中国销售产品。
中国海关网站显示，根据 2020 年“第一阶段”贸易协议，中国批准的 1,000 多家美国肉类工厂的注册于周日失效。这约占所有注册工厂的三分之二。
美国农业部未立即回应置评请求。
“我们很高兴看到猪肉加工厂方面取得进展，并希望尽快在牛肉方面也能传来类似的好消息，”美国肉类出口联合会发言人Joe Schuele说。(完)
