Sinohope Technology Shareholders to Vote March 31 on Acquisitions

Shareholders of Sinohope Technology (HKG:1611) will meet March 31 to vote on two proposed acquisition agreements, a March 14 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

The technology solution services company is looking to purchase the entire issued share capital of Avenir Asset for nearly $30.5 million, which it will satisfy through the allotment and issue of a maximum of 108,992,786 shares to the sellers at HK$2.18 apiece.

The firm is also proposing to purchase a 7.69% equity interest in BitTrade from Goldenway Japan. The consideration of nearly $2.8 million will be settled by the allotment and issue of up to 9,908,988 shares at HK$2.18 per share.

The parties had entered into the purchase agreement in August 2024.
