According to official sources, Parasol, a subsidiary of Mysten Labs dedicated to helping game developers seamlessly integrate blockchain infrastructure, has now confirmed that the SEGA-licensed game "CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS," operated by Jokers Inc., is set to land on Sui.
Since the launch of the Sui mainnet, the blockchain-based gaming sector within the Sui ecosystem has seen rapid growth, covering everything from independent AAA-level games like XOCIETY to Mysten Labs' upcoming SuiPlay0X1 (the first hardware device supporting both Web2 and Web3 games developed based on Playtron OS). The inclusion of "CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS" further demonstrates the strong momentum of the Sui ecosystem in the Web3 gaming space.
"CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS" is the latest installment in SEGA's CODE OF JOKER series, a popular digital card trading game launched by SEGA in 2013. Now, with the support of Sui, "CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS" will achieve on-chain cardization for the first time, not only showcasing the IP of the series but also bringing more upcoming collaborative content. Leveraging Sui's underlying infrastructure, players can prove ownership of digital assets, freely trade cards, and showcase their collections. The game is expected to be officially released in late summer 2025 on iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
