Medallion Metals (ASX:MM8) received several unsolicited inquiries in relation to securing offtake rights to the copper-gold concentrate from its operations in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The firm is seeking to develop the Ravensthorpe gold project. It is also seeking to sign a binding agreement for the acquisition of certain assets of the Forrestania nickel operation, including the Cosmic Boy process plant.

It called for indicative proposals to purchase the concentrate, subject to the closure of the proposed acquisition and development of the project.

It received indicative offers from 13 parties. Of those proposals, seven contain offers of development funding linked to the offtake.

The firm's shares rose 6% in recent trading on Monday.
