C29 Metals (ASX:C29) has resubmitted its application for ministerial approval to transfer ownership of Ulytau Resources, holder of the Ulytau tenement in Kazakhstan, after an initial refusal on Nov. 28, 2024, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Following the refusal, C29 engaged with government officials and stakeholders to address concerns, leading to the resubmission of the application, the filing said.
The company remains optimistic about a positive outcome but is uncertain about the timeline for resolution, the filing added.
Exploration activities, including the planned drilling program, remain paused, the company said.
Shares of the company rose 12% on market close.
