0834 GMT - Switzerland's central bank looks set to cut interest rates for the last time in the current cycle this week, Claus Vistesen and Melanie Debono at Pantheon Macroeconomics write in a note to clients. The Swiss National Bank will set out its latest decision on its key rate on Thursday, with investors and economists expecting another 25 basis-point cut to 0.25%. That is likely to be the lowest the SNB takes the rate, even at the risk of diverging from policy at the European Central Bank and bringing about undue strengthening in the franc, Vistesen and Debono say. "Trade tensions will keep upward pressure on the franc, so FX intervention will be needed in any case," they say. (joshua.kirby@wsj.com; @joshualeokirby)
