LightPath Technologies (LPTH) said Tuesday its G5 Infrared subsidiary received a $4.8 million initial qualification order for infrared cameras from a new customer in the defense sector.
The company did not identify the customer but said the initial order could lead to multiple follow-on orders. LightPath expects delivery to start in the coming weeks and continue on an ongoing basis through the end of the year.
Shares of LightPath Technologies were up 1.4% in recent trading.
