0925 GMT - More luxury companies could start implementing price increases in the coming weeks, but these measures are expected to be moderate this year, Citi analysts Thomas Chauvet and Mahesh Mohankumar write in a note. While around half of the luxury names under review didn't materially raise prices so far this year, they could make decisions in this regard in the next few weeks, the analysts say. Prada, Balenciaga and Omega hiked prices in late February, according to Citi. "Chanel, Hermes, Prada and now Balenciaga have been at the forefront of pricing this year, with most other brands leaving prices broadly unchanged," they add. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
