Tencent Music Entertainment's (HKG:1698) attributable profit rose 50% to 1.96 billion yuan in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 1.31 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the online music rose to 0.63 yuan from 0.42 yuan in the previous year, while earnings per ADS jumped to 1.26 yuan from 0.83 yuan a year earlier.
Revenue grew 8.2% to 7.46 billion yuan from 6.89 billion yuan a year earlier.
The company declared a final dividend of $0.09 per ordinary share or $0.18 per American depositary share, payable April 17 to ordinary shareholders and on April 24 to ADS holders on record as of April 3.
TME also launched a 24-month share buyback program for up to $1 billion beginning in March.
