Updates PepsiCo; adds Wiz, General Atlantic, Collins Aerospace, U.S. Steel, Guess and Chevron

March 17 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2015 GMT on Monday:

** PepsiCo PEP.O said it would buy prebiotic soda brand Poppi for $1.95 billion, expanding into the "healthier soda" category at a time when the company is battling falling demand for its traditional beverages and snacks. nL4N3Q00Y5

** Google-parent Alphabet GOOGL.O is in advanced talks to acquire cybersecurity startup Wiz for around $30 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported, in what could be the tech giant's largest deal ever. nL4N3Q01G2

** The supervisory board of ProSiebenSat.1 PSMGn.DE has delayed a decision on a potential deal that could hand U.S. private equity firm General Atlantic a minority stake in the German broadcaster, sources told Reuters. nS8N3NL03E

** French engine and aircraft equipment maker Safran SAF.PA has offered remedies in an attempt to secure EU antitrust approval for its $1.8 billion bid for Collins Aerospace's flight controls business, an update on the European Commission website showed. nL1N3Q00JD

** The Trump administration filed a motion to extend two deadlines in U.S. Steel X.N and Nippon Steel's 5401.T lawsuit against a U.S. national security panel to give the government more time to wrap up merger talks with the firms, a filing showed. nL4N3Q00TY

** Guess GES.N said it had received a take-private offer from brand management firm WHP Global of $13 per share. nL4N3Q010G

** Chevron CVX.N purchased about 4.99% of Hess Corp's HES.N common shares this year, the oil giant said in a regulatory filing. nL4N3Q013Y

** Drugmaker AstraZeneca AZN.L has agreed to buy Belgium-based biotechnology firm EsoBiotec for up to $1 billion, it said, seeking to accelerate the development of its cell therapy capabilities, particularly for cancer. nL4N3Q00F8

** Australia's Ramelius Resources RMS.AX will take over smaller peer Spartan Resources SPR.AX, valuing the miner at A$2.4 billion ($1.5 billion) on a debt-free basis, as rising bullion prices drive a wave of consolidation in the sector. nL1N3PZ07E

** Korea's Hanwha aims to buy up to 9.9% of Australian shipbuilder Austal ASB.AX in an after-market offer following its failed A$1.02 billion ($646.17 million) takeover bid last year, a term sheet showed. nL1N3Q005S

** Steppe Agroholding acquired full control of RZ Agro, which it had previously shared with members of the French family of global grain merchant Louis Dreyfus, Interfax reported on Sunday, citing a source familiar with the deal. The deal size was unknown but it was done at "a big discount", the source told Interfax. nL8N3PZ04M

** Malaysia's sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd will acquire Innovation Network Corporation of Japan's stake in telecommunications infrastructure company EDOTCO Group. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed in the statement. nL1N3PY01C
