0008 GMT - JGB futures edge higher, tracking overnight price gains in U.S. Treasurys ahead of BOJ and FOMC decisions due later today. Given no expected monetary-policy changes and no outlook report at the BOJ's meeting, focus will likely be on how central bank officials perceive recent economic developments, HSBC Global Research economists say in a note. "We expect messaging from monetary officials to remain relatively hawkish to manage expectations, but the timing of actually pulling the trigger on hiking rates will depend on how the majority of policy board members perceive market conditions and the balance of risks at each meeting," they add. JGB 10-year futures are 0.03 yen higher at 138.37 yen. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
