Kula Gold (ASX:KGD) said it started drilling at its Mt Palmer Gold Mine joint venture with Aurumin (ASX:AUN) in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company completed an air core drill program at the mine and plans to launch reverse circulation drilling later during the week at the site, the filing said.
Kula Gold's shares rose 25% in recent Tuesday trade and earlier hit a 52-week low, while Aurumin's shares were up almost 2%.
