淡水河谷集团首席执行官毕闻达：预计2026年铁矿石产量将达到3.4亿-3.6亿吨
新华财经北京3月20日电据中钢协消息，3月20日上午，中国钢铁工业协会副会长兼秘书长姜维接待了到访的淡水河谷集团首席执行官毕闻达（Gustavo Pimenta）一行，双方就中国钢铁行业运行及未来需求发展情况、淡水河谷铁矿石生产供应情况，以及推动钢铁行业绿色低碳发展等进行了坦诚友好的交流。
毕闻达重点介绍了2024年淡水河谷铁矿石业务开展情况和三个新矿区的建设情况，以及在产品组合、文化提升和加强社会责任（ESG）等方面开展的工作。他毕闻达表示，淡水河谷希望加强与中指出，2024年淡水河谷铁矿石产量达到3.28亿吨，同比增长2%，预计2026年产量将达到3.4-3.6亿吨。随着南部和北部三个新项目的建设和陆续投产，届时将为淡水河谷带来5000万铁矿石的增量。国客户的合作，将一如既往向中国市场供应高品质的铁矿石资源，并积极助力中国钢铁工业绿色低碳转型。
