Interparfums has acquired intellectual property rights for French perfume company Maison Goutal.

Interparfums, a New York fragrance company, said Monday its Europe-based subsidiary acquired the rights from Amorepacific Europe.

Amorepacific will continue to operate the Goutal brand under a license agreement for a set duration, Interparfums said. Starting in 2026, Interparfums will start developing the brand together with the licensee. Interparfums produces fragrances under license agreements with brands such as Karl Lagerfeld and Guess.

Annick Goutal created the brand in 1981 focused on high-end perfumes. Annual sales of Goutal fragrances have reached a high of $12 million, Interparfums said.
