PANews 3月19日消息，据The Block报道，Cosmos的跨链基金会（ICF）已资助Evmos（EVMOS -32.90%）的开源，这是其包含200多个应用链的多链生态系统的原生EVM框架。基金会表示，该框架此前在Evmos项目下开发，现在将作为“Cosmos EVM”在官方跨链软件栈中维护，包括Cosmos SDK，这意味着Cosmos生态系统现在有了标准化的以太坊虚拟机（EVM）版本。这一发展使Cosmos区块链能够集成Cosmos EVM以实现完全的EVM兼容性，包括通过轻量级EVM配置支持JSON-RPC和以太坊钱包兼容性，用于原生ERC-20代币。该集成通过跨链通信（IBC）协议加强了更广泛的EVM生态系统与Cosmos之间的跨链互操作性。
作为这一转变的一部分，Evmos联合创始人Federico Kunze Küllmer将不再担任Evmos的核心贡献者，同时继续就Cosmos EVM的互操作性和模块化架构向ICF提供建议，Evmos指出。Kunze Küllmer的公司Altiplanic是Evmos代码库的核心贡献者，将不再参与该项目。
