一份文件显示，特朗普政府已提交动议，要求延长美国钢铁公司和日本新日铁针对美国国家安全审查机构的诉讼案中的两个最后期限，以便为政府争取更多时间完成与两家公司的合并谈判。

　　这一文件最明确地表明，美国总统特朗普可能允许被前总统拜登否决的合并交易以某种形式推进。

　　今年1月，美国外国投资委员会（CFIUS）以国家安全为由建议否决两家公司的合并计划，美国钢铁和新日铁随后对该委员会提起诉讼。

　　司法部上周提交的动议要求将CFIUS诉讼案的陈述期限延长21天，并将原定于4月24日的口头辩论推迟至5月12日当周。

　　司法部在文件中表示：“此次延期请求将使政府能够完成与双方就美国钢铁和新日铁交易的讨论，目标是消除法院就本案实质内容进行裁决的必要性。”

　　目前，美国钢铁和新日铁住金已同意该延期动议，但仍需法院批准。
