PANews 3月19日消息，Deribit首席信息安全官Anthony Sweeney发布诈骗警报称，最近几周，冒充招聘人员的骗子数量激增，他们谎称自己为Deribit工作（可能很快也会冒充其他知名公司）。加密货币行业常是新型欺诈手段的温床，此类骗局也不例外，预计会迅速蔓延至其他行业。
社会工程学骗局主要通过两种方式诱骗受害者：一是提供高薪工作机会，二是要求求职者对现雇主保密求职过程。骗子的套路如下：先创建LinkedIn个人资料，伪装成Deribit（或其他知名公司）的招聘人员或猎头；再发布高薪职位广告，通常针对能访问敏感系统的高级员工或开发人员，并与潜在候选人联系；一旦引起对方注意，骗局便正式展开。
具体手段有三种：选项A，要求完成“在线评估”，实则安装恶意软件；选项B，进行在线面试，提供工作机会，并以“独家入职前福利”如公司X的折扣股票为诱饵，最终骗取钱财；选项C，邀请与高级团队会面并签署合同，在Deribit案例中，骗子谎称是洛杉矶办公室（而Deribit在美国并无办公室），且要求带上工作笔记本电脑，这是针对现有公司设备的又一迹象。
