PANews 3月19日消息，据Cryptonews报道，韩国加密交易所Bithumb在努力成为该国首个启动IPO的平台时，克服了一个关键的法律障碍。最高法院在一起涉及Bithumb Holdings前首席执行官兼Bithumb Korea首席执行官Lee Jung-hoon的长期欺诈案中，裁定检方败诉。Bithumb现在“预计将加快首次公开募股（IPO）”进程，因为围绕Lee Jung-hoon的“法律风险”已经消除。Lee Jung-hoon也是Bithumb的主要股东。据报道，Bithumb希望效仿美国的Coinbase和日本的Coincheck，在纳斯达克证券交易所上市。
在Bithumb继续推进IPO计划的过程中，至少还有两个关键障碍。第一个是金融情报单位（FIU）正在进行的调查的不确定性。FIU于3月17日对Bithumb启动了现场检查，检查将于3月28日结束。监管机构希望调查Bithumb在反洗钱（AML）义务等方面的合规情况。在之前对Upbit的调查中，FIU发现了大量KYC违规行为。第二个障碍涉及Bithumb复杂的所有权结构，以及关于谁拥有该平台的持续问题。虽然法律案件解决了一些问题，但关于神秘商人Kang Jong-hyun与该交易所的关系仍存在疑问。该媒体写道：“澄清其治理结构将是Lee Jung-hoon和Bithumb的紧迫任务。”
