C29 Metals Unit Secures Tenement Expansion in Kazakhstan; Shares Up 7%

C29 Metals (ASX:C29) subsidiary C29 Metals (Kazakhstan) secured exploration license #3233-EL, following grant approval by the Kazakhstan Ministry of Natural Resources, expanding the Ulytau project to the east, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The grant increased the project's total footprint to roughly 399 square kilometers, the filing said.

Shares rose nearly 7% in midday trade Wednesday.
