China Taiping Insurance (HKG:0966) recorded a 36% rise in attributable profit for the year 2024 to HK$8.43 billion from HK$6.19 billion a year prior, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Earnings per share rose to HK$2.068 in the year from HK$1.495 in 2023.
The insurer's insurance revenue for the year increased by 3.5% to HK$111.3 billion from HK$107.5 billion in the year-ago period.
The company attributed the rise in profit mainly to an increase in insurance service results and net investment results.
The firm recommended a final dividend of HK$0.35 per share for the year, payable on or around July 22 to shareholders of record on July 11.
